Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress and singer. She is an Michigan native, born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in the entertainment industry when she was just a teenager. In 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. She got the role on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. As well as taking private lessons, she began her acting career around that time. Bell was credited with a minor performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was part of the drama and music groups at Shrine Catholic High School. In her school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell then moved into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell quit her studies in 2001, and assumed the role of Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang however, the scene where she made an appearance was cut. As a result, the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
