Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Her heritage is Italian through her father's grandfather. They include the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. In 2022, her character in the role of Pamela Anderson was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
