Awkwafina

Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and musician who began her career with clever raps that tackled the issues of sexuality and race with a the most comical of perspectives. Her career then grew into Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical experience. She played the trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism, and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. She didn't start focusing on music until she finished her studies. My Vag, her track My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit on the Internet and was later featured on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album also included songs that were viral such as body positive Queef or winking hometown tour the city of New York Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly with another Awkwafina project NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. Her resume contained both an musicians and an author. The singer was seeking for a new career path in acting. Alongside early shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors to Storks. In the year 2018, she was offered a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
