Yvonne De Carlo (September 1 1922 - January 8, 2007) was a native of Canada. American actress of TV and film. During her six-decade career her most prominent appearances on film came in the 1940s and 1950s and included her most-loved film roles including Anna Marie in Salome Where She was Anna in Criss Cross Sephora the wife to Moses and the character of Mary in The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston as well as Amantha Starr on Band of Angels with Clark Gable. De Carlo was offered the role as Lily Munster in the CBS Television show The Munsters, alongside Fred Gwynne & Al Lewis.
